Sinner is a second-time qualifier for the Nitto ATP Finals after competing in the event as an alternate in 2021 and again as a qualifier in 2023.
The Italian has enjoyed the best season of his career in 2024, winning his first major title at the Australian Open and becoming the first Italian No. 1 in the history of the PIF ATP Rankings.
The 22-year-old has won four titles this season, also lifting the trophy in Rotterdam, Miami and Halle. He became the first qualifier for the 2024 season finale.
Sinner showed his comfort on the big stage as an alternate in Turin in 2021, but made his biggest breakthrough at home in 2023. He thrilled the fans in Turin by completing an undefeated run through group play — including a win against Novak Djokovic — and then advanced to the championship match with a victory over Daniil Medvedev.
